Stabilised Chlorine Granules
Used as part of a routine daily sanitisation regime, Stabilised Chlorine Granules can be a very effective disinfectant for your outdoor swimming pool. As long as the temperature in your swimming pool is above 20°C, you can add this chemical directly into your pool without the need for pre-dissolving. 270g is required to raise the free chlorine residual in 10,000 gallons of water by 3ppm.
Granular Shock
Calcium Hypochlorite can be used for regular disinfection in destroying swimmer waste and organic materials present within the swimming pool water. When you need to shock dose the pool water, take the level of free chlorine residual up to 10ppm for it have maximum effectiveness. To raise the water by 5ppm, add 175g per 5000 gallons
Rapid Shock
Blue Horizons Rapid Shock is a rapidly dissolving calcium hypochlorite. It can be used in your regular disinfection regime or as a shock treatment for destroying swimmer waste and organic materials present within the swimming pool water. A recommended dose rate to increase the chlorine residual in the water by 10ppm is 975g per 15,000 gallons.
Small Chlorine Tablets
These 20g Chlorine Tablets are designed to be used with either a chlorine feeder or a floating dispenser. The amount of chlorine added into the water will be dependent on the water flow over them. This can be adjusted accordingly. It is advisable to shock your swimming pool water initially to add a chlorine residual and then use the tablets which will slowly dissolve over 3-5 days.
200g Large Chlorine Tablets
Large Chlorine Tablets are used on many outdoor pools as they contain stabiliser. This helps to prevent the sunlight from leaching the chlorine residual from the water. They can be dosed via the pool skimmers or chemical feeder.
Blue Horizons Top Tablet
This new Top Tablet is a mutifunctional tablet incorporating a special quick release blue top that gives your swimming pool water a chlorine boost. It then moves on to the slowly dissolving bottom section that will provide a chlorine residual for between 6-10 days depending on the water flow over the tablet. Being a multifunctional tablet means that as well dosing chlorine into the swimming pool water it will also add algaecide and clarifier.
20g Mini Mutifunctional Tablets
Small Multifunctional Chlorine Tablets should be dosed into the pool via a floating dispenser. The level of chlorine should be maintained between 1 - 3ppm for effective usage. These tablets will slowly disolve over a period of 3-5 days depending on the flow of water over them. It may be necessary to shock your pool initially to rapidly add chlorine residual.
200g Multifunctional Chlorine Tablets
Large Multifunctional Chlorine Tablets not only contain chlorine, but algeacide and clarifier. These chemicals work together to give your pool water a real sparkle. They can be dosed via the pool skimmers or chemical feeder.
Multifunctional Floating Dispenser
This pre-filled floating dispenser contains stabilised chlorine, algaecide and clarifier. The dispenser has adjustments to vary the water flow to enable you to keep the chlorine residual between 1 - 3ppm. This will slowly release sanitiser for between 3 - 5 weeks depending on the amount of water flow. Perfect as a holiday treatment!
Bromine Tablets
Supplied in small 20g tablets, Bromine is an effective sanitiser in both swimming pools and spas. Bromine belongs to the same family of chemicals as chlorine but isn't as harsh. An active bromine residual reading of between 2 - 4ppm should be maintained for effective sanitisation.
Non Chlorine Shock
Non Chlorine Shock is a fantastic product to use instead of calcium hypochlorite. The main advantage being that you will be able to swim after 1 hour of shocking your pool as it won't increase the chlorine residual within the water. It destroys swimmer organic waste and brings that sparkle back into the swimming pool water.
Shock 'n' Floc
Shock 'n' Floc is a 2 in 1 chemical. It contains calcium hypochlorite with an additive of clarifier. This will benefit you by shocking your swimming pool water and at the same time giving your water that sparkle back. 483g will raise the chlorine residual in 5,000 gallons of water by 10ppm.
Ultimate Chlorine Granules
This mutifunctional chlorine sanitiser can be added directly into your swimming pool removing the need to dissolve it first. It should only be used on outdoor pools and makes a fantastic sanitiser for daily routine disinfection. As well as stabilised chlorine, it also contains an algaecide and clarifier to help maintain your swimming pool water to the highest standards.
Ultimate Boost Tablets
Fast dissolving Ultimate Boost Tablets are ideally suited for use with ionic purifiers. They can also be used to provide a start up dose before moving on to the large chlorine tablets for disinfection. One 100g tablet will boost chlorine levels in 10,000 gallons of water by 1ppm.
Ultimate Water Clarifier Concentrate
Ultimate Water Clarifier Concentrate will not only polish your swimming pool water but it will also coagulate any present small particles that will then be able to be removed by the filter. For effective results, use 180ml per 10,000 gallons of swimming pool water.
Ultimate Algaecide Concentrate
This is a strong copper based algaecide that is used for the routine prevention and control of algae. After an initial dose, this can be used on a weekly basis at a dose rate of 80ml per 10,000 gallons of water.
Ultimate Wintertime Algaecide
This is an ideal product to use when decommissioning your swimming pool. Make sure the free chlorine level is above 10ppm and then add this copper free wintertime algaecide into the swimming pool water whilst the pump is still running. As a rule, we would recommend adding a dose of 3.3 litres per 10,000 gallons of pool water. Being copper free, it will help to prevent staining and scale build up and is compatible with chlorine and bromine sanitisers. Ensure the algeacide has been adequately distributed within the swimming pool water before turning off the pump.
pH Plus ( Alkali )
pH Plus is a fine powder that is essential in your water balancing regime. It is used to increase the pH to provide protection of your swimming pool plant equipment and provide optimal sanitiser effeciency and bather comfort. Your pH should be within the parameters of 7.2 - 7.6. If it falls below 7.2, use pH plus to raise the pH at a dose rate of 500g per 10,000 gallons.
pH Minus ( Dry Acid )
pH Minus is essential in the balancing of your swimming pool water. The optimum range for your pH is between 7.2 - 7.6. If your water exceeds 7.6, use pH Minus to lower it. The dose rates are 500g per 10,000 gallons. This will provide optimal sanitiser effeciency, bather comfort and protection for your plant equipment.
Calcium Hardness Raiser
Calcium Hardness levels within your swimming pool are part of your water balancing regime. The level should be kept above 200ppm. This is especially essential if you have a tiled swimming pool as if the calcium level is low, the water will be corrosive and eat into the grout between the tiles. This will in turn lead to the tiles becoming displaced.
TA Raiser
An essential part of your water balancing routine, TA Raiser is used to increase the Total Alkalinity residual within the swimming pool water. The ideal range for the total alkalinity is between 80-150ppm depending on which sanitiser you are using. Approximately 2kg will raise the TA level in 10,000 gallons of water by 25ppm.
